My son is a 42 year old quadriplegic (25 years ago auto accident) with CHI. Urinalysis came back as: Leuk Esterase 2+ WBC's 32 Epithel cells 3. These were the only ones in the abnormal range. I believe he may have a bladder infection. He does not see the doctor until next week. These labs were take over 3 weeks ago and no one informed me if there is a problem. Do I need to do something else?

What symptoms does he have that makes you think he has a bladder infection? Does he catheterize his bladder?

he does self cath several times a day. I thought the maybe all the catheing may be a sign Color is clear and no odor.
Because he self catheterizes, this urinalysis is normal and nothing of concern. You want his urine to be clear as this means he is well hydrated. I don't think there is anything to be concerned about here. Hope this helps.
