I've had dribbling after urination, brief shooting pains in the penis shaft, slight burning in tip of penis (no discharge) and mild discomfort in the groin and the area between the scrotum and anus.

do you have an answer?
Sorry for the delay as I was in the OR. This sounds like you may have an infection of your prostate called prostatitis. You need to get in to see your doctor for a prostate exam and a urine culture and you may need to be started on an antibiotic such as Cipro for 30 days for this. You can take ibuprofen for 1-2 weeks to decrease the pain and inflammation. Your doctor can also prescribe Urelle to stop the pain. Hope this helps and please let me know if you have questions.
