no med for prostate and yes but when i am sleeping i leak small amount of urine what can i do to correct this i have been checked for cancer
The most likely cause of the problem you describe is blockage to your urine flow due to an enlarged prostate. This can lead to incomplete bladder emptying. This can especially lead to making you get up several times at night and even leak urine . The first thing that we as urologists do in your situation is put you on a medication called Flomax to help relax the prostate so you can completely empty your bladder and this can help to prevent you from getting up so frequently at night. You should see a urologist for an exam and start you on this medication. Hope this helps.
