I went to the Dr on Friday ,.He said I had protien in my urine,and ordered more blood work I also gave a urine specimen..I was in the hospital to have a heart ablation duing the surgeory I got aspirated pnemonia. I ended up back in hospital near home I was in for a week and had piggy back antibioctivcs and lasix . Had to have treatment for my lung. Now one month later urine with protine and I am anemic not to mention calciim in blood.
I am getting afraid and dont' knoew what to expect next. PLease help.

Protein in the urine is abnormal. It is an indication of kidney dysfunction due to some sort of medical problems such as high blood pressure or diabetes. It can also be due to autoimmune diseases that attack kidney.You need to see a nephrologist to do a 24 hour urine collection to see exactly how much protein you are leaking into the urine to determine what needs to be done next. You may need a kidney biopsy to figure this out. Hope this helps.
