Parking Charge Notice.

Hi I received a parking ticket whilst parked outside of a motorcycle shop back in October last year. It states I was parked in a restricted area of the car park (Contraveninf Code 81), actually I used their car park to go to the shop next door. When I returned to the car and seen the ticket I went inside to see the manager who told me of my wrong doing but I pointed out there was no sign and he said it had fell or or been pinched however I never took a picture or have no way of proving this. So far I have just ignored the letter from "Vehicle Control Services LTD" etc but now I have a letter from Roxburghe Debt Collectors asking for the full amount plus admin charges.

What should I do ?

Hi, My son named rider of a motorcycle I own, rode in a bus during a period when in operation and I have been issued with a PCN (penalty charge notice). I appealed even though it is clear the motorcycle is to the left of the solid white line. The reason I appealed the charge was due to Rola indicating to me that a motorist had almost driven into the back of the "bike", at the intersection and that he was concerned for his safety and a "little rattled". The council have issued a standard letter and indicated that, "... they do not provide sufficient justification to cancel the Penalty Charge Notice." There are a number of mistakes (1) "Motorists are not allowed to use a bus lane even if a bus was not using the lane at the time." - he was a motorcyclist. (2) "Drivers are not permitted to drive in a bus lane during its period of operation." - he was a rider, riding a motor bike in the bus lane. (3) It is illegal for motorists other than buses to drive or stop in a bus lane during its operational hours." - Taxi's and bicycles use bus lanes and while not being a bus nor is a motor bike. There are a few more discrepancies of a similar nature. It appears that they have not even taken the time to read my appeal and not bothered to issue at the very least a response suited to the implied charge. I believe that they may have been a the very least, negligent it their response. Please let me know what would be the most suitable method to correct this.

I was issued a parking notice from the Car Parking Parnership on the 13.3.2013 which I ignored. I have now received a with a CPN Charge Summary in name of my husband (registered keeper).
I parked the car badly on private land (council estate houses parking) which are opposite my daughters school. The contractor who issued the notice was parked next to me, had a couple inside and had her window open when I left the car for less than 2 min. When I got back they were still taking pictures of my car (in the evidence there is a picture of me). I received no warning, nothing except you will have to pay. The contractos were sitting inside their car (male and female) talking away as if they were the parents of a child going to school. They were as badly parked as I was and had on their vehicle, no kind of business information. What is worse is that I have a distic that allows me to park in the area so an alert and I would have immediately reversed my car and parked on the road a few meters away.
I appealed saying this and confirmed I was the driver. In the meantime decided to do some research and started seeing all these reviews and information that I should never say who the driver was.
I have also requested they supply me a copy of the contract they have with the land onwner, as these are council houses I suppose the contract would have to be with the local Borough?
Don't really know what to do next, they are charging me with £120 which is an absolute extorsion.
