Customer Question

Can I appeal the TT99 sentence I received?.
I thought the sentence I received would be more lenient. I am not saying I didn't deserve a ban but I thought 3-4 months not 6 months.
Thanks
Laura

Sorry if I am missing the point but why were you expecting less than six months?

This is a totting matter?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
you cannot appeal the sentence for totting offence? It is just a straight 6 months ban and that's it. No driving course to reduce the length of time. No appeal to shorten the ban?.
Expert:  Jo C. replied 7 months ago.

You can appeal anything you like. It is a mandatory right.

There is no point though as six months is the minimum for totting.

Expert:  Jo C. replied 7 months ago.

The only way to avoid a minimum ban of six months is to argue that exceptional hardship exists which is a high test and it is not what you are describing here.

They were always going to impose a ban as you are a totter. Come what may, there is no way around that.

Can I clarify anything for you?
