CPZs & Parking bays

Customer Question

Do white-dashed-line-delimited bays directly adjacent to, and adjoining, the carriageway in a Controlled Parking Zone (e.g. a residents area) require signs along their length detailing the restrictions if there are no signs at all within the (large) CPZ itself (i.e. it only has signs at its entrances)?

This is in Scotland (which I don't think makes a difference.)
