I got 2 fines through the post for stopping on a yellow line and slightly on a verge to avoid causing a traffic hold up when I dropped my daughter at school. This is the first time I've seen anything like this as the fines came through the post. There was no sign warning of "photo-fines". I was in the car, had not actually parked and the fines are for different amounts. The one for stopping at 8.36 is for £55 and the second at 8.47 the next day is for £65 obviously double that if I don't pay within 21 days. What rights to I have?
