jomo1972 yes i was using phone
I am sorry but there isn't going to be very much you can do about this on the face of it.You accept the offence and so there is no substantive defence. Obviously you can put the Crown to proof upon every element of the offence but that can be an expensive mistake if it goes against you.As long as they laid an information before the court within 6 months of the offence then they are in time. Actually its not uncommon that they do lay informations at the very end of their 6 month period so the fact of 5 months delay will not be significant unfortunately.Sorry thats probably not the answer you wanted but it is the position that you have and I have a duty to give you truthful and accurate information even though its not what I want to say. Please rate my answer with OK SERVICE or more and then I will continue for free.
