I have the following speeding offences on my licence:date: 17/4/07 - 3 points 5/1/08 - 3 points 10/6/08 - 3 pointsAre my first points now not valid (3 yr rule) or if I am unlucky and receiv another offence is my total 12 points?
The rules are that points will be active in the sense of relevant to totting ban for 3 years so the ones from 2007 would not now be active but the others all would.
However they will stay on your license from the point of view of the DVLA for 4 years.
You will need to declare them to insurers usually for 5 years.
