Customer Question

Hi,
I'm having trouble wit the CT600 form.
Its stopping me from continuing with: The previous period total must tally with the profit and loss account value in the balance sheet. Check your answer(s) and amend where necessary.
This isn in the final "Profit and loss Section AC215.
I know its something to do with rounding. and I suspect its to do with called up share capital.
It forces me to declare £1 called up share capital ..
The accounts package I'm using (DIY Accounting) has a pre-prepared set of data fro CT600. an I've copied the data line for line.

Thank you for your question.

If you are able to send me images of your profit and loss account and balance sheet pages, I will review the accounts for you. We will get rid of the error message.

You say it may be something to do with called up share capital .. please advise what was reportedas issued share capital in your last annual return to Companies House.

You may wish to complete boxes as appropriate and send these to me here

Hi,Sorry, I sorted it out.
It seems taht there is a little bug with the called up capital section.
it forces me to put shares called up (1) and assign £1 for 2015
If you leave the previous year entry blank it allows it , but gets the calculation wrong.
I adjusted both the balance sheet and profit an loss section for the previous year to also have 1 called up share at £1 and the form continued.
Whilst I'm not sure what the £1 share capital means , It seems to work.Thanks.
