Customer Question

I have a prospective contractor who is tax resident of Switzerland, he has a Swiss ltd company and is coming to work in the uk for 6 months for a uk company. Can the uk company just pay his Swiss ltd company for his work without any tax implications?

Hello and welcome to the site. Thank you for your question.
Please clarify for me
Is the contract between
- the Swiss company and a UK based company, or
- between the contractor (who has a swiss LTD company and the UK based company.
Many thanks
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It is between the contractors ltd company (the Swiss one) and the uk company.
Thanks

Thank you for your reply.
As the contract is between the two companies and not between the contractor and the UK company, the contractor company in Switzerland would invoice the UK company for provision of services as per contract in the normal way and get paid per the terms of the contract.
The contractor would remain an employee of the Swiss company.
There should be no tax implications in doing so.
I hope this is helpful and answers your question.
