Customer Question

we have used a private piece of land at the rear of our property for 13 years to park our car without complaint. recently new tenants have moved into one of the flats and we have now had solicitors letter stating we cannot park there. we have rights of access to our own property over this land but don't own it. we have kept the area clean tidy and weed free for 13 years,do we have any rights after this period to be able to park our car there. Thank you for any advice you can give us on this matter.

Hi
Thanks for your question .

For clarity and the avoidance of doubt, could you please respond to the following USING THE SAME NUMBERING:-
1. Does the right to access the land extend only so that you can access your land ? (ie. it does not say that you may also park)?
Kind regards.

Tom

Hi Keith & Jane,

I don't believe there is a facility to attach documents. If you can find a place on the web to dump them so that I can view then do so.

If not, please just type the wording of the right.

Kind regards,

Tom
