Premiums for Residental Tenancies.I seem to recall a case, Robert Sil or Silks Estates, maybe late 1960s or early 1970s which decided that charging a premium for a residential letting is iillegal. Can you refer me to the case or its outcome please?

Hello,I will do my best to help you with this.I have been trying to locate it online but cannot. I can tell you that the law against premium residential letting was enshrined in the Rent Act 1977 and that the Housing Act 1988 is now the relevant piece of legislation. If you have a specific query in relation to residential premiums, please let me know and I will try to help. Please rate me OK SERVICE and I will gladly answer your follow up questions. John
