Hi I left my rented property in march, my landlady only put

Hi
I left my rented property in march, my landlady only put my ex boyfriends name on the deposit protection scheme, despite many request on both of our behalfs for myself to be added, she refuses too do so.

My ex partner left the country before I handed the property back, so was not even there when the property was handed back.

I paid the deposit, and the rent came out of my bank account for over 2 years, despite this she says it is nothing to do with me!!!

It was my money, I can not remember if this was stated on the day, however I paid the rent every month via direct debit from my bank account. We were joint tenants on the contract, is she allowed to just choose who she deals with?
