Is this the Ariston boiler?

What are you trying to put batteries into?

Hi, i am putting the batteries into the battery compartment where they should go according to the diagram in the book!!! its a brand new boiler that has a battery operated ignition and not mains electric operated one! it came supplied with batteries but we upgraded them to see if it helped. We then slowed the flow of the water but it makes no difference the water still goes cold after three mins so we have to turn off the tap/shower and wait for a few mins then turn it on again to get more hot water?

Is it a thermostat you are putting batteries in?

Surely it is not the boiler?
