I have a crosswater bath filler and shower thermostatic

Customer Question

I have a crosswater bath filler and shower thermostatic valve.
It does not get hot enough. I replaced the cartridge but the problem persists.
All the other hot water outlets get very hot.
If you run a cold tap elsewhere in the house the hot water from the thermostatic valve gets much hotter.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
Many thanks
Ben

Perhaps the cold water is a much higher pressure and is forcing its way up the hot pipe when you run the mixer tap.

Try fitting non return valves or check vales on the supplies to the tap to cure this.

Thanks for the reply.
The valve has worked previously and the valve is suppled with a non return valve which was changed as well in case it was not working.
