Is there a pressure guage on the boiler?

Expert:  Andrew Smith replied 1 year ago.

S30 is the status code for no demand.

Does the boiler not fire for hot water either?

Expert:  Andrew Smith replied 1 year ago.

Do you have 2 x 2 ports or a 3 port valve?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Does not fire for hot water or central heating, not pressure gauge on the boiler, and two port valve for CH and HW.
Expert:  Andrew Smith replied 1 year ago.

When you turn the hot water or heating on do the valves open?

You can tell because the lever will go slack

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
They don't seem to be opening aotomatically, but put them both to manual and water flowing but boiler not firing. Showing s.30 again after s7.
Expert:  Andrew Smith replied 1 year ago.

Strange they have both stopped.

When you push them to manual it does not open fully and make the microswitch.

You need to go to the junction box they are wired to and see why there is no power to the brown wire (this powers the motor)

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Replaced timer and now working.

Well done, I would have got back to it eventually!
