Hi I have a boiler Baxi solo 50/4 RS. CH is working ok but HW not, when I switch on HW pump stop to work and burner is cuted of, after when I switch again on CH is working. do you have any sugestion?regardsYan

Hi I am Rick, UK Plumber, and I specialize on Boiler problems, the 50/4 RS is a system boiler, so you will have a hot water cylinder and pump with motor valves, can you locate the valve or valves and tell me the make and if you have two valves or one on a tee, Rick

OK these boilers can support gravity hot water and pumped CH it sounds like this is your set-up, in which case the hot water should heat when ever the boiler is firing if it does not but the heating works OK then it would point to low water level in the system, check the header tank in the loft for water, Rick

Hi RickThe boiler is "Main 30HE combi" C H is working but HW is not, diverting valves are prob working ok. Ihave seen switches working ok could it be termistors?
Sorry confused we started off on a Baxi Solo, now it is a Main combi is this a new question? Rick

Hi Yan, I did reply earlier but been having connection problems and it seems it was not sent, can you check the pin moves on the diverter valve when you turn on a hot tap, if it does then check the two micro switches, if it does not operate the switches then the diaphragm has failed, Rick

The pins are moving and micro switches seems to be working ok
even if switch HW only and open hot tap start to work CH
Hi Yan, so sorry, had to get a new dongle and set up, only just now got a reliable internet connection, you need to check that you have 24v ac on the red wire from the micro switch with a hot tap open, Rick
I have check there is not 24 V ac
