i have a baxi duo tec 40 he a, there is a red light flashing on the boiler and the central heating will not swich off. i have changed the batteries in the timer control, the clock is still working.

changing the batterys on the timer

The timer and receiver are having trouble syncing. Take the timer off the wall and bring it closer to the receiver to see if they sync. If they do not take the batteries out of the timer for ten minutes and replace them while you are closer to the receiver and see if it syncs then.

yes took them out for 10 and replaced with some moor new ones.

Is the red light on the receiver or the boiler? Sorry I assumed it was the receiver since you changed batteries.

the red light was flashing on the boiler, just had another look and red light not on any more.

It can take a little while to sync after changing batteries
