i have a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24i junior boiler. The blue fault indicator is flashing in the following sequence: 5 flashes in quick sucession, no flash for approx 2 seconds, 5 quick successive flashes etc etc. Is anyone able to tell me what the problem is? The pressure gauge is also at zero, so may be related to this.
Hi my name is XXXXX XXXXX lets see if we can get you sorted in the shortest possible time. It is a low pressure fault. Is there a silver flexible pipe under the boiler?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
No, only copper pipes.
If you take the bottom cover off (underneath), is there a key attached?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
yes there is
Take the key from the plate, insert in in underneath - straight up onto the slot. Line the arrow on the key with the unlock padlock picture and push in. Twist the key until the line on the key lines up with the padlock locked symbol. Turn on the square white peg on the left of it slowly, the water will start whistling in and the pressure gauge will go up slowly. Keep filling until the gauge reads 1.5 bar. When done turn off the the valve, and remove the key the opposite way. There will be a slight bit of water when you remove the key. Put the key back on the plate and put the plate back on.
