Hi, I have a maverick lwb r reg. the engine managment lights is on and constantly puts the engine in limp mode. Stalling all the time when pulling away. I let the diesel run empty so I could see how much it would cost for a full tank. Would the reason be because there maby some dirt clagged up some were and maby need new filters ?

Hiif you've already had the fault code read and its showing a a faulty accelerator pedal its more than likely that this is the issuetry unplugging the pedal sensor in the drivers footwell and cleaning the connection with some switch / electrical cleaner and check over the wiring for any damageif this doesn't help then consider replacing the pedal sensorand yes it’s also worth considering fitting a new fuel filter as if only slightly blocked this can lower fuel supply pressure and choke the main pump, the pump will be more sensitive to this when its cold as diesel thickens considerably with low temperatures.
