In that case, there must be something wrong with the emergency key lock - and this is usually down to partially seizing due to a lack of use - its a common issue Im afraid.

The best thing to do is to spray with the directional tube on a tin of wd40 - into the lock and give it 30 mins - respray, and try again. Dont be afraid to give it to some force - though obviously dont overdo it. Try lifting and putting the handle back / too as you do, sometimes that helps.

That should work for you - IF it doesn't - the only way forward is to gain access to the engine bay by removing the bottom cover and using a jump pack or donor battery and leads - attaching the red pos to the back large terminal on the starter motor ( it wont turn the engine )...and the black neg lead to a good clean metal earth point on the engine... and then try the fobs.

This will work if you have a flat car battery - If you have a fault with the fobs - then you really will need to call on a Nissan dealer.

If it is a flat battery as above, that then will open the locking..and then you can deal then with the flat battery situation as needed...
