Could Sumone who's convicted of a non sex offence be placed

Customer Question

Could Sumone who's convicted of a non sex offence be placed on the register. Example person in a position of trust who targets vulnerable persons for their sexual gratification. Example police officer who uses his position to target vulnerable victims of domestic violence. Offence for which found guilty of being misconduct in a public office?

No.

The register only exists for sexual offences.

Abuse of trust offences do not apply unless, of course, they are sexual offences.

Misconduct in public office does not carry notification.

Sorry if that is bad news.

Can I clarify anything for you?
