I have a website host whom has tied me down to a rolling

Customer Question

I am Tony.
I have a website host whom has tied me down to a rolling contract and hasn't performed as per contract with maintenance and SEO on my ecommerce website. I had a standing order which finished its 12 months in May this year. In the mean time, due to my dissatisfaction I created a new website and switched to a new server last week. All of a sudden I am getting threatening emails from the ex-host saying I owe him over £1100 for services since May. Which I have not received any monthly invoice for. I am not happy with his service whatsoever and he has now (within 12 hours) switched off my original website which has all the database of customers and sales (vat purposes etc) and he will not give me access until I pay. In retrospect I can honestly say that he has lost me a lot of money due to lack of work on my site. Any advice would be much appreciated
