I applied to renew my license PCO ( minicab ) before 6 months
Have -driving without care and attention CD10 on my counterpart
Date of conviction 11/06/2014
Date of ofence 30/12/2013
Fine 110
Discual. period 60 days,court decizion
CRB clean,no points on my driving licence, I have no other traffic offense in last 5 years
It is possible that my license , be refused TFL ?
What are my chances to appeal refusal?

What were the facts of the offence?

I overtake learning driver near zebra crosing,No accidents or any incident
A PARK POLICE car, stop me, a gentleman cop, saying that driving without care and attention and that I report to court

that is a problem I'm afraid. You can appeal. You have a right to do so. If this is the source of income that you rely on then probably you may as well appeal. However, for a private hire vehicle the fact that you have a driving related conviction in these circumstances will be a concern. This is fairly recent as well which is a problem.

The issue is the zebra crossing. I suppose it is a point that there were no accidents but that is a matter of good fortune.

What you have to do is emphasis the absence of any other convictions and the isolated nature of this incident.

It really comes down to whether they get access to this information or not but probably they will.
