An estate estate agent in Wales has said on twitter :-
"British Muslims after polygamous marriages. Illegal under UK law. Legal under Shariah law.
That's what's wrong with our country"
This comment offended a muslim I know. But is what he said racist and illegal ? Can he be punished ?

The court has the power under the 2003 Communications Act if it considers that the twitter message "by means of a public electronic communications network a message or other matter that is grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing nature". A complaint would need to be made to the police. Please rate positively - thanks
