We have a large tree in our garden. Our next-door neighbour

Customer Question

We have a large tree in our garden. Our next-door neighbour wants to cut down all the branches overhanging their property, do we have to accept all the branches they cut down? or if we don't want them do they have to dispose of them?

I am afraid that they are entitled to cut down all or any branches which overhang their property as technically this is a trespass. It is a moot point what to do with branches - technically they are your branches and often a neighbour will just throw them back over the fence as they are your responsibility. Others may just depose of them.

I hope this helps
