I have a court date next week, where i will be pleading

Customer Question

Hi,
I have a court date next week, where i will be pleading guilty to three charges
1-driving without a licence
2-driving without insurance
3-driving my mums car without consent (theft act)
Now the police officer clearly told me 'you will not go to prison', this was about 2 weeks ago. However over the past few nights i have been getting extremely anxious, and I'm slightly worried that the police officer just told me that as he was worried for my own wellbeing. Maybe its just me being overly worried/confused i don't know.
I intend to explain that this was a 'moment of madness', which it was, and how deeply sorry and stupid i feel, which i do. This is my first offence, apart from a reprimand when i was 16 for a drawing on a public bus. I am 18 now.
I have no job at the moment, however i am not claiming benefits and have three interviews lined up (not sure if that matters haha)
Any sort of advice would be helpful and much appreciated.

You will not be sent to prison in the facts that you have outlined.
Worst case scenario is a community order e.g. unpaid work/supervision/curfew.
