my mother was diagnosed with dementia last sept, the docter wrote a report stating that she could run her own finicial affairs, so that i could manage them for her. my brother took in paperwork in january this year concerning her private pension, which he got her to sign, which he then sold the policy, pocketing the money, leaving my father with a morgage he cant afford. have i got just cause to take him to court

If he has abused his position then yes.
You would need to show that your mother did not in fact know what she was doing, the son knew this and took advantage of this.
If your mother did know what she was doing, then there would be very little you can do. It may have simply been just a gift..........
But if your mum did not know what she doing then you can take action.
