Hi Daniel. Now I am the director of this company which owes HMRC a bill of approximately GBP 50,000-00. And I already open a company in Canada in BC province with the same name. Now the company name is XXXXX XXXXX director is same but one in UK and another one in Canada. Is there any danger to my company in Canada from HMRC. I don't want HMRC to harm my company there, because the company name is XXXXX XXXXX the directors as well. And in a mean while I am talking to HMRC in UK regarding the VAT Bill. Please advice me.

Hi there. Thanks for your question, I will help you with this. I can't offer you specific advice as the website prevent that, but what I can say is that the Canadian company and English Company are going to be different legal entries and a such are to be sued as separate entities. In other words, their debts are their own and just because the name is XXXXX XXXXX doesn't make any difference to that. Dan
