As a trustee of a family member who is under the Court of Protection. can I change support workers, cleaners and care providors?? I have discussed this with his solicitorbut so far have received little response. The ammount of money in trust is not makingthe profit it was and we as a family would like to take on some of the work to savemoney please advise

Please remember to click ACCEPT once you get my answer.If they are under the Court of protection then you need to get approval from the Official Solicitor.The OS has control of the proceedings and the best interest of the person whose protection is being sought.But if you get approval from OS then yes.You need to formally write and set down your proposals.
