Does a duty solicitor in a police station have a duty to inform a client that he is a trainee solicitor?

Although not obliged to as to get Police accreditation they need to go through various exams etc, it is probably good practice.


This would mean that if you had bad advice and suffered as a result, then you could sue the firm.


Paralegals can also have Police accreditation - so as I said, it is not required just good practice.
