Resolved Question:

A company has taken us to court with a bankruptcy petiton and we have received a letter to say that the bankruptcy petition has been dismissed? Does this mean it has not happened?

Thanks for your question.

Yes, this means that the creditor company's application to make you bankrupt has been rejected by the Court. They may make another application but the one which has been presented to the Court has been deemed by the Court to be insufficient to enable them to make an order to make you bankrupt.
