Hi, this very much depends on the nature of the crime committed. Have you any crime in mind?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.

In 1974 aged 17 I was convicted of breaking a village hall window and fined 75 pounds

Expert:  Steven Haylesbury replied 7 years ago.
Ok well the 1974 rehabilitation of offenders Act, says that convictions for a fine are spent after 5 years. there are provisions in place for juveniles as well but either way the conviction has long been spent!!
