I am currently on an F1 visa and want to apply for a visit

Resolved Question:

I am currently on an F1 visa and want to apply for a visit visa for UK. My current college might terminate my I20 on my request in case i want to return to my country. If my I20 is terminated during my UK visa application will it reflect on the application and effect my chances ? If visit visa is approved by the I20 is terminated will i be stopped from entering the UK on my way back to my country?

Hi,

If you have been granted a visit visa to enter the UK, you will not be refused entry unless it is believed that you will not leave the UK or you obtained the visa by deception.

I have not yet applied for it . What im concerned is if the I-20 is terminated will that be grounds for denying entry into the UK?

Hi,

Not in itself. With regard to the visit visa, provided you can prove the intention that you will leave at the end of your proposed trip and you have sufficient means to accommodate and maintain yourself, you should be granted a visitors visa.
