How long have you and your partner been together?
We have been in a relationship since November, 2004 but we started living together in the UK from September, 2006 and we are still living together now.
My immigration history is as follows:
September, 2005 - November, 2008 on a student visa
November, 2008 - November, 2010 on a Post Study Work visa
My partner's immigration history is as follows:
September, 2006 - January, 2010 on a student visa
January, 2010 - January, 2012 on a Post Study Work visa

You will be able to join your partner in the UK as a dependant of a Points Based System if:
Dependants will not be entering under the points-based system. They are entering as the dependant of a points-based system Migrant.
Partners (married, unmarried, same sex) must intend to live together and the relationship must be subsisting. Dependants must be maintained and accommodated without needing any help from public funds. You must not intend to stay beyond any period of leave granted to you.
