2003 Focus Estate brake warning light (handbrake) is constantly on. Is there a simple resolution?

Hi there and welcome to JA.COM, i will try to assist you with your problem, the first thing to check would be the wiring/micro switch on the handbrake, this switch is located at the base of the handbrake lever, to access it you will need to remove the rubber boot, plastic trim and also the center plastic cowling to access it, hope this helps, if you need further help please ask, if not, please press the GREEN BUTTON to accept, as this is how i get paid, once again kindest regards martin.
