Hi There. I have a Mondeo 2.0 TDCI (Build date NOv 2007). I have an intermiitent fault with acceleration, in that on several occasions the car does not accelerate as expected. It feels like it is being starved of fuel. I have had a full Ford diagnostic check done and according to the Computer there is nothing wrong with the car as no faults have been logged. Mileage on the car is about 25,000. Any Ideas?

Hi There. I do not think it a good idea to give out VIN numbers etc over the net and was quit surprised that you asked for them. So with all due respect that request will not be forthcoming.
With regards XX XXX other questions. There are no fault lights and no smoke and no fault history, I am sure this was in the original question. I am also very suprised that payment has also been taken from my account before I have had chance to rate any answers given. Sorry if I sound a bit off, but I was always told not to give car details out because of the possibilty of cloning etc. This in no way intended to be disrespectful to yourself. Best Regards, Steve
Hello again... thank you for your reply... If you read the T & C's for using justanswer , you will see that your money is taken and held as a good faith deposit by justanswer themselves. Experts are paid when you rate the answer given, again as outlined in the terms of use. - With regard to my request for the vehilces' VIN.. its a common request - and is necessery for me to properly ID the car you have and its management systems etc. Its no different to parts suppliers / service agents etc asking for your VIN and / or reg number -it is a necessity these days so that you receive accurate help - rather than generic. On the subject of rating - you cannot rate anything as yet until I turn the rating system on from here - I dont have it on at present for you -as I have not as yet provided you with any answer.. I hope that clarifies all for you... I look forward to hearng back from you so that I can help you ... Best Rgds, MIKE...............................
