Hello, I hope I can offer you some assistance.

Is this an early 2002 shape Fiesta or a 2002 onwards Fiesta?

Let me know and I'll reply as soon as I can.

Thank you.

Hello again, if your not sure have you the registration number or better the chassis number? It's just the wiring is different for the early shape Fiesta to the later shape.

Thanks.

Hello again,

firstly the car is a 2002 onwards car so is a later shape.

The fault codes are both for the low tension circuit of the ignition system.

Check fuse 15 in the fuse box behind the glove box this is the 12 volt feed to the ignition coil pack. If this is OK then with the aid of an assistant check for 12 volts at pin 2 of the coil multi plug when the engine is cranking, this wire should be green/blue. If there is 12 volts then you need to check the circuits for pin 1 and pin 3 of the ignition coil, when cranking the engine with the connector of the coil still connected you should be able to see each wire been switched to earth by the engine management to trigger the coil. If the wires are not switching to earth then you need to disconnect the engine management control module (PCM) and check the wiring between pin 3 of the coil connector and pin M1 at the PCM this should be a black/green wire. Do the same for pin 1 of the coil and pin M3 of the PCM this should be a black/orange wire. If the fuse is OK but there isn't 12 volts at pin 2 of the coil when cranking then check the fuel pump relay operation. If all the wiring checks out OK then the PCM is at fault. As the PCM is expensive to replace if it is at fault I would recommend having it repaired, a good company that I have personal experience with is www.ecutesting.com this company will give a quote to repair the unit.

I hope this helps but if I can assist further or you need clarification of any point let me know and I'll reply as soon as I can.

Best wishes,

Sean.
