Mobilemick :

Your headlight switch will be faulty, sometimes the wiring going into it gets hot and makes the pins spread apart and not make a good contact..

Mobilemick :

if you can turn the switch to on, and wiggle the wiring behind the switch,, it may work,,

Customer : Hey thanks cause ive checked all fuses and relays but nothing yet
Customer : Can you tell me how to remove the switch to access the wiring?
Customer : Also can the switch be faulty even though my dash lights and the lights on the switch itself work?
Customer : However my right hand side main beam alone works
Customer : The xenons and the left main beam dont work
Mobilemick :

yes the dash lights will still work, they work on the first setting

Customer : The insulation on the wiring to the left headlight had deteriorated and fallen off so the wires were touching each other and had blown a couple fuses. I installed a new headlight but still only right main beam working
Mobilemick :

from memory, u turn the switch toi sidelights, and then push in, and switch pulls out

Customer : Hey i tried wiggling the wires but still nothing
Mobilemick :

are u getting power out of the wires, when its turend on

Customer : Do you think the ballasts for the xenon lights or the headlamps themselves can be at fault?
Customer : I didnt check for power from the wires
Customer : Even so, does that explain why only one main beam is working?
Mobilemick :

if they are both not working, it would be strange if they had both failed

Customer : Thats what i thought but i have 1 out of 4 lights not working so im wondering if the switch can also cause this ?
Customer : Sorry 1 out of 4 lights WORKING
Customer : Also my right side fog lamp works but not the left
Customer : So im confused
Mobilemick :

u only have 1 fog light, its normally the drivers side

Mobilemick :

so both sidelights work,

Mobilemick :

and only 1 headlight

Mobilemick :

what about full beam, are they both working
