Ford Ka sport: Ford KA 04 the inertia fuel switch was disabled

Resolved Question:

Ford KA 04 the inertia fuel switch was disabled so I couldnt start my car.Thank goodness for blog,now restarted but how would it turn off, if not done manually. Could my car have been tampered with.

Hi there , good afternoon to you.
Ok the most probably cause is a loose connection in the fuel cut off switch. Or if it hasn't been pushed right home if it was activated previously ( road conditions could well have caused the switch to pop out causing the switch to cut the fuel supply ,
There is no known faults or concerns with this system on the KA
What to do is ensure the button is fully depressed and monitor the situation
If it happens again I would replace the cut off switch
