Ford KA: I am trying to get the axillary drive belt belt on

Resolved Question:

I am trying to get the axillary drive belt belt on my ford KA but no matter how hard I pull the tensioner back it wont quite go on. Is it supposed to be that tight or does this sound like I have the wrong belt

Hi there are only 5 pulleys. I am sure I have fitted it correctly. Should it just slip on or should it require the belt to be stretched even with the tensioner full pulled back
Expert:  Gallagher99 replied 4 years ago.

Hi there , ok the belt should slip over the pulleys when the tensioner is right back

here is a better diagram to follow
