Hi there hope i can be of assistance,

How much fuel are you getting to the injectors, is this squirting approx 6-8 inch or just trickling out?

Also, take a note of the immobilser light near the clock, is this flashing, on constanlty, or go out as normal?

have any fault codes been taken, if so, what are they?

Thanks Bob

Thanks for the quick reply,

Ok you should see a very good jet of fuel coming from the injectors, especially on the Fiesta.

At this stage i would strongly recommend having the fault codes read, any workshop can do this as the Fiesta has very good comms with basic diagnostic scanners.

I would suspect fault code p1664 fuel injection pump, which always appears in conjunction with another fault code, usually p15xx which relates to either crank sensor, or fuel pump requesting engine stop.

Thanks Bob

Ok easy start will give the fuel system a sudden boost in fuel pressure, so this dosent eliminate the injection pump.

Also check that the battery is in very good health and turning voer the engine fast enough, a basic test is to jump start the car to see if this makes any difference.

At this stage to prevent you wasting time and money, i would have the fault codes read asap.

Thanks Bob
