Hi there hope i can be of assistance,

Which kind of fuel cap is fitted to your c-max?

Is this the type which you push one side and the flap 'pops' open?

Or is there a space for your finger to flip open the flap?

Thanks Bob

Customer replied 764 days and 10 hours ago.

It is the type where there is a space for your finger to flip open the flap.

It opens a small amount I don't want to just yank it open in case I cause more damage unless you tell me differently of course

Thanks for the reply,

Ok this usually happens when the hinge which the door pivots on, has failed and will need replacing.

However as a temporary measure to get the flap open, try open the door the maximum amount you can. Then while trying to open, push the door gently towards the hinge. You may need to wriggle the door up and down also.

Thanks Bob
