Next account was running a long time in her own name, we got married last december. but dnt think she changed her name on the next account.

not really have any assets tbh.

no life insurance either.

Hi Matthew
NO assets at all?
Claire
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

nope, house in my name, car in my name.

Hi Matthew
Then if she had no assets the debt fails
You will need to write to Next sending them a copy of the death certificate and details of such assets as she had - and a copy of the funeral account (which is always the first call on any funds there are)
They should be reasonable about the matter but you will need to be patient with what may be repeated requests for information
I hope that this is of assistance please ask if you need further details

so they carnt come to me for it, even tho ide be power of attorney?

and wat u mean by funeral account?

Hi
The fact that you had Power of Attorney is not relevant - unless you had a card on her account.
By Funeral Account I mean the Bill for the funeral
