My form E is now done but I have asked my solicitor not to

This answer was rated:

My form E is now done but I have asked my solicitor not to let my ex have a copy of my form E unless he does his. A copy is going to the court but I feel that if my ex is delaying his form E while should he have the privilege of seeing mine first. Can I do this? My solicitor hasn't answered my question yet.
Thank you for your question.
There are some solicitors that do this - but frankly there is no point.
Your Form E should simply give an accurate indication of your financial position and accordingly there is no reason for him not to see it
It also makes your position in court weaker if you have not complied with the exchange
I hope that this is of assistance
