Hi
Thank you for your question.
I will do my best to assist but need some further information first.
Do you mean within a Will or in some other way?

Hi
Thank you for that.
What is her relationship with the father of the child?
Claire
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

none as i say she is a single mother he does not want anything to do with the baby

Hi
In that case your daughter can make a Will and appoint you as Testamentary Guardian of any child who survives her.
This would give you a form of Parental Responsibility for any child - but if the father does which to apply for Residence then it would be for the Court to decide the eventual outcome.

I hope this is of assistance but if you need further clarification or information please do not hesitate to ask
