I have custody of my grandson (9), my daughter, his aunt has served me with a contact order. My solicitor says I need a barrister to represent me. She has been harrassing me for some time, but my grandson doesn't want to speak to her at all. I am 66 and very concerned that because she is a highly qualified nurse consultant that she will overrule me . Ihave to wait until my solicitor has applied to Legal aid for her to make any case. The date for court has been set for 23 march. not enough time for decision. She has applied for a delay date. WillI be able to pay costs in instalments? Also he has £1,0000 in his bank, will I have to use that.
You may have to pay a monthly contribution to the legal services commission if you are assessed as needing to pay one
Your grandsons savings will not be taken into account if they are in his name
I put too many o's on his savings, it should £10,00039879.491783831
If it is in his name there is still no problem
