Hi Ben - can I ask for some advice. I was working as a Band 3 Administrator within a hospital trust. When two teams merged I was asked to take on a Band 4 Med Sec role for both teams which I accepted. Received letter re contract of employment change from HR confirming new banding and salary. Nothing in this saying it was not permanent and no end date given. New service manager started six months later and she told me that I was a team secretary on secondment. Just received formal letter inviting me to a meeting to discuss "interim acting up arrangement" and agree an end date. This letter said she agreed these arrangements back in August 2013 for a period of six months - this was not the case. Can they put me back down to Band 3 administrator? Can I get access to my HR records? Upon request HR sent me a form signed by my ex manager stating an end date (which was not six months from date of job change) but I have not had a copy of this and have a feeling it was added later. All I have received from HR is the initial change of circumstance form confirming my new position which I signed and returned.
